Fire presents a particular hazard to the Hitchcock Woods and to the safety of visitors.

• Smoking of any kind in the Woods is prohibited at all times and violators are subject to prosecution.
• Fires (including lanterns and candles) are prohibited in the Woods unless authorized in writing by the Hitchcock Woods Foundation.
• Firearms and fireworks are prohibited in the Woods.
