Festival of the Woods

September 20 @ 6:00 pm

The Festival of the Woods is an annual evening celebration of the history and natural resources of Hitchcock Woods.  The event features a guest speaker, dinner under the stars in Hitchcock Woods, a wine bar, and live music. The 2019 Festival Guest Speaker is Dwayne Estes, Director for Southeastern Grasslands Initiative. For reservations please call the Foundation office at 803-642-0528.

Festival of the Woods Family Day

September 21 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

The Festival of the Woods Family Day is the community coming together to celebrate the cultural and natural resources of Hitchcock Woods.  This free event will include learning stations for everyone to learn about our accomplishments and priorities of the Hitchcock Woods.  Subject Matter Experts will be on-hand to answer your questions.   Pack and lunch and picnic under the pines. Family Day is a classroom for adventurers of all ages!

Annual Aiken Horse Show

The 104th Annual Aiken Horse Show is held at the legendary show ring in the Hitchcock Woods. Founded by Louise Hitchcock in 1916, the Aiken Horse Show is one of the most elegant and historic affairs in Aiken’s lively sporting calendar.
